2011 Ramadan of Society Aikido Yoshinkan

August is a very dry month here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are all fasting. My usual work starts from 10am up to 4pm (95% of company's here work this way), then i need to go home and wait until 6:50pm to break my fast, eat dates and water (or milk) and then prepare myself (wash myself with water) then go for prayer (around 7pm), after the Magrebh prayer is over, I go back home to continue my meal (around 7:30pm), take a little rest (or nap), wake up at around 10pm then start to prepare dishes for my morning (fajr) meal at 3:30am then go to sleep at 5am (after Fajr Prayer), in other words there's "No Time for Training". This is very difficult for all of us here in Saudi Arabia. Everyday students are excited and very eager to train and because of Ramadan (from August 01 to 31, 2011) "we have to stop the training".

I always advise all my students during this months (Ramadan) that is to continue practicing kihon dosa on their past time. Kihon Dosa is a very powerful and effective exercise to gain and maintain your balance and at the same time perfectly execute aikido techniques once you applied this during your next training. So to all of you out there (my buddies students), let's keep fit and let's meet after a month.

Osu!
